One of the critical factors in complying with federal and state employment laws is the display of required posters in the workplace. These posters are to be displayed in areas where they are visible to all employees, for example on designated company bulletin boards. Employers that fail to display the required posters are subject to significant fines.
The beginning of the new year is a good time to ensure that your organization has current employment posters. SESCO has available both federal posters ? the 5-in-1 poster for employers with less than fifty (50) employees and the 6-in-1 poster with the required posters for employers with fifty (50) or more employees. Both posters include the updated minimum wage rates that became effective in July 2007. These federal posters are laminated and measure 18 inches by 24 inches.
State posters are also available in sets of individually required posters (not laminated).
