The DOL’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) has continued its FFCRA enforcement efforts, recently announcing separately settlements with four employers recovering $47,053 in back wages for 20 employees: employer terminated employee for trying to use FFCRA leave,employer denied paid leave for doctor-ordered quarantine, and employer denied paid leave to care for children. The WHD also recovered $95,120 in back wages for 99 employees due to reported Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) minimum wage violations.
